How it works
What changes when your insurance comes from an independent agency
A captive agent can only offer one company’s products. We compare options from multiple carriers, explain what changes between them, and stay involved after the policy is in place. Here is what that actually looks like step by step.
What you get
Five differences that show up in practice
These are not slogans. Each one changes something you will actually notice: at quote time, at claim time, or at renewal.
Choice
We shop the market so you don’t have to
We are not tied to a single company. That means we can compare options side by side and show you what you are actually trading when one quote is cheaper than another: limits, deductibles, exclusions, and endorsements included.

We explain the coverage, not just the price
Insurance documents are full of terms that change what a policy actually pays for. We walk through the parts that matter for your situation and translate them, so you know what you are buying before you commit.
See how we support you after the saleClaims
Someone works the claim with you
When you file a claim, you deal with the carrier, but you do not have to do it alone. We help you understand what documentation is needed, what the process looks like, and who to contact at each stage.
Start a claimOne conversation
One agency across home, auto, and business
Most households and small businesses end up with several policies. Keeping them with one agency makes it easier to see where they overlap, where they leave a gap, and where a bundle actually helps instead of just looking cheaper.
Review business coverageRenewals
Your policy gets reviewed, not just renewed
Coverage needs change as a business grows or a household changes. We revisit the policy at renewal so limits and endorsements still match what you are doing. We also flag anything that has drifted.
Ask for a coverage reviewThe process
How a coverage review works
Six steps, from the first conversation through the support that continues after the policy is in place. You stay involved at every decision point.
Build your story
You talk through the operation with a specialist: what you do, where you work, what you own, who you employ, and what your contracts or lender require. That detail becomes the submission.
Present it to the market
Your specialist works with our quoting team to put the submission in front of carriers who write that type of risk. The more accurate the detail, the more useful the quotes that come back.
Compare what comes back
Quotes are rarely apples to apples. We put them side by side so you can see how limits, deductibles, exclusions, and endorsements differ, not just which premium is lowest.
Choose your option
You decide. We explain the tradeoffs on each option and answer questions until the choice makes sense for your budget and your exposure.
Put the policy in place
Once you have chosen, we handle the paperwork and issue the certificate of insurance. If a client, landlord, or lender needs proof of coverage, our self-service certificate tool lets you create and send one yourself.
Stay on it after the sale
Renewals, coverage questions, policy changes, and certificates all stay with the same team. Coverage gets reviewed as your situation changes rather than renewed on autopilot.
Coverage range
What we compare across
We work across personal, commercial, and specialty lines. These are the coverage areas that come up most often. The right combination depends on what you own and what you do.
- General liabilityThird-party bodily injury and property damage, including completed operations and contract requirements.
- Business propertyBuildings, contents, and business personal property, with limits reviewed against what it would cost to replace them.
- Commercial autoVehicles used for business, including hired and non-owned exposure when employees drive.
- Workers’ compensationCoverage for employee injuries, with classification and payroll reviewed at each renewal.
- Professional liability (E&O)Coverage for financial loss tied to professional advice or services, separate from general liability.
- Personal umbrellaExtra liability protection that sits above your home and auto policies when a claim exceeds their limits.
Carrier access
We compare options from multiple carriers
Access to more than one market is what makes comparison possible. Which companies can quote your risk depends on the state, the coverage type, and the details of the risk itself.
Carrier availability varies by state and coverage type. See the full list of carriers we work with, or where we serve clients.
Start with the coverage question you have
You do not need to know which policy you want. Bring the contract, the renewal notice, the quote you are unsure about, or just the situation, and we will work through it with you.
